xDesigned by Dreamdesign, this two-storey apartment is located in Kyiv downtown. Originally, the house was built in the last century by a famous architect Joseph Karakis. Its history and the unique atmosphere of the old city became the semantic background and the starting point for renovation of the apartment. Using timeless solutions such as natural textures, restrained colors, and eco-friendly materials, the apartment is well designed to make sure it won’t go out of fashion and age beautifully.

The owner of the house are from New Zealand, so based on their choices, steel beams are exposed and other design features are in part influenced by a desire to remind them of a South Island style.
