xDesigned by Dreamdesign, this two-storey apartment is located in Kyiv downtown. Originally, the house was built in the last century by a famous architect Joseph Karakis. Its history and the unique atmosphere of the old city became the semantic background and the starting point for renovation of the apartment. Using timeless solutions such as natural textures, restrained colors, and eco-friendly materials, the apartment is well designed to make sure it won’t go out of fashion and age beautifully.
The owner of the house are from New Zealand, so based on their choices, steel beams are exposed and other design features are in part influenced by a desire to remind them of a South Island style. A full width and side return extension is added, with full height steel doors adding an industrial style to this typical Victorian brick terraced house. The ground floor has been completely reconfigured, to create once large open plan kitchen, dining and living space. At upper level a luxury master suite has been formed, the large free standing bath is laced in the center. becoems a centre piece. A new bedroom and ensuite is created in the extension.

Located just 50 meters from the beach of Costa Brava, Spain, this 130 m² apartment is a peaceful oasis. Flooded with light, the place was carried out with all kinds of wood. Oak parquet was placed throughout the home, holm oak wood counters were used with micro-cement walls, an oak structure was used to create the foyer and pine wood is used to make the interior carpentry. Besides all the furniture and flooring, wood and natural material are wildly used in the decoration and lighting fixtures as well. Combing with the beautiful ocean view, this place is for sure a little oasis allowing you to forget all the worries.
