Located on the 39th and 40th floors of one of the tallest mixed-use skyscrapers in New York City, this duplex has edgy yet sophisticated interior. Designed by Axis Mundi Design, this project has many impressive features, such as attention to detail, careful selection of artwork, daring use of color, and integration of material and texture. But one of the most daring decision is the leather walls that distinguish the social areas of the household. Besides that, the same leather is introduced on the handrail of the dramatic feature staircase.

The overall concept of the interiors of the Golden Oak apartment is based on heat-cold contrasts: colors, textures, surface finishes and textiles. The main room of the Golden Oak apartment is a studio zone, which unites the kitchen, dining room and living room.

Doesn’t like normal apartment, this apartment is more like a special hotel room which is used to entertain VIP guests, mainly from foreign guests. To have a home feeling when they stay in Taipei. Since you never know what kind of people will live in the room, the designing company is asked to create barrier-free space to provide good safety for people with reduced mobility.

This Gallery looking place is newly renovated for a retired couples who wanted a base which is easy to manage, comfortable, feels stylish and new and is also a good backdrop for their art collection. The place itself is relatively small but with other advantages like high ceilings and large windows. Considering the couple’s life style, the designer convinced them not to go for a second bedroom, but instead lavish the space on themselves, with a bathroom each, generous storage space and a large living room with a connecting sitting room and kitchen diner.

Although this house has many advantage such as lots of space and plenty of bedrooms, its original design and layout was a little too open and lack soul for this couple. To make the place more suitable for the couple’s life style, Daniel Hopwood Studio successfully transformed this place and create a perfect balance between vintage and modern together.

The world becomes crowded and crowded and in densely populated cities, micro-living style becomes more and more popular. To make best use of their real state and meet the needs of market, some minimal and compact apartments are designed. Like the flat in this post, it is original a 150 m2 old flat in Madrid. The owner wants to divide it into three luxury apartments. 50 m2 isn’t that big for an full equipped apartment, especially with the requirement of luxury.
